➽ THE NEIGHBORHOOD
You will stay in the city center, 5 min to the historical center with its medieval streets ideal for shopping to new neighborhoods combining natural spaces and buildings designed by the greatest international architects.
The place de la Comédie, Montpellier’s iconic heart, is the top place to visit and is only 10 min walk from the apartment.
This Musée Fabre museum is considered to be one of the finest Fine Arts Museums in Europe – its ancient and modern architecture makes it quite exceptional and is 15 min walk.
Montpellier boasts numerous tiny medieval streets, which bear testament to its proud past.
Our recommendation? Just drop your suitcases in the apartment, forget all about your map, and just follow your instincts as you wend your way along these narrow streets and get lost in the medieval streets. Why not go shopping in the boutiques with their vaulted ceilings and visit designers, antique dealers and tearooms ?
If you are leaving by train, you’ll be able to enjoy your stay until the last minute as the apartment is only 2 min away.
➽ TRANSPORT
→ CAR : The apartment is very convenient if you come by car (unlike others located in the Ecusson, the historical and pedestrian center of Montpellier) as you can park in the street just in front of the building or in the public parking area located 2 min away (in front of the train station).
→ TRAIN : Even more convenient if you come by train as the train station is literally a 2 minute walk! Just take the exit "Pont de Sète" on the upper level of the station and in only 2 min walk you’ll be at home !
→ TRAMWAY : Finally, all the 4 tramways lines are nearby. The nearest station is “Gare Saint Roch” (5 min) or “Place Carnot” for the Line 3 (this one will take you directly to the beach in 30 min !)
→ PARKING:
The nearest public parking is just 2mn walk away: Parking Gare Saint Roch
